In order to be valid in Italy the documents issued by foreign authorities must be legalised by the Italian consular and diplomatic representatives abroad.

Such documents, except for the ones issued on the multilingual forms according to international conventions, should be also translated into Italian. The translation must contain a stamp “for translation conformity”.
